Bridging the Missing Middle
Connecting capital, knowledge, and purpose to empower Indonesia’s impact enterprises.
Connecting capital, knowledge, and purpose to empower Indonesia’s impact enterprises.
ImpactX is a Sustainable Trade Program by Crevisse that drives cross-border impact business and investment, accelerating the growth of impactful enterprises through blended finance and hands-on support. The program focuses on expanding markets, strengthening global supply chains, and promoting sustainable import-export across four continents and eight countries, including Indonesia.
The program was launched in 2021 to address the "missing middle" in Indonesia's social investment ecosystem, where proven early- to growth-stage social enterprises struggle to secure the necessary growth capital. ImpactX bridges this gap by combining patient investment capital (equity or loan) with technical assistance (via grants) to de-risk enterprises and enhance their investment readiness.
This funding gap prevents promising social enterprises from scaling their models, accessing growth capital, and realizing their potential impact at national or global levels.
The operational cycle of ImpactX is structured around five core components designed for holistic enterprise development and long-term sustainability.
Identifying high-potential impact enterprises through scouting and strategic partnerships for targeted support.
Combining patient investment (equity/loan) with grants to de-risk enterprises and enable scalable operations.
Providing custom consulting on HR, finance, impact reporting, and readiness for B Corp certification.
Strengthening external positioning capacity through profile development and investor showcase events.
Ensuring transparency and compliance through accountability, settlement, and external auditing of grant funds.
Catalytic capital and tailored support that multiplied impact and investment returns.

The initial phase (2021-2025) successfully addressed the "missing middle" by acting as an "Investment-driven program" to build a pipeline of investment-ready enterprises. The new bottleneck is no longer capital access but access to scalable, mainstream, and global business integration.
The next decade (2026-2035) marks the transition to ImpactX 2.0: A Business-Driven Ecosystem.
